PCO: The Bridge Layout video

Ana Cortez made this very interesting video using the "Bridge Layout" that she teaches in her book. It's a spread I used very often when I was just beginning, because I found it easier to work with determined position than with the constant elemental interaction of the 4-card layout.

But, it's a very interesting video because she asked cards about the future of mankind - the next step of our journey on Earth. And the reading is not all flowers and unicorns as one would hope... perhaps the lessons of the Age of Aquarius will be much harder to learn that we expected.

I'd also like to apologize for the lack of posts, and my own lack of inspiration. I do feel a bit stuck, but I have not forgotten this blog. I am doing some different experiments and promise to bring them to the blog soon! One of my plans is doing a "planetary"reading, like the one Ana did in this video, and see what I come up with...

Astro Mythological Lenormand - PART III: Reading for a querent who is not present...

...but who has given you the permission to read for them!

Whew! I apologize folks, for disappearing. We had the Carnival holidays last week, and then a busy weekend... but now I'm back, with more Astro Mythological techniques by Dicta & Françoise!

A warning: this third method has two tables, and a bit more math than the others. Ready for this? Then lets go!

~*~

THIRD SITUATION: When you read for someone who is absent, but at their request.

You begin by calculating the "name number" of your sitter. Don't remember how it's done? Take a look at Part I again. The "name number" of a person never changes, unless they change their names for any reason, so it's handy to write down the numbers of the people that you read for often (or your own number), so you don't have to calculate it again and again.

Once you have the "name number", you'll add to it the number of the day of the week in which the reading is being done. These numbers are given in the table below:

Numerical Values of the Days of the Week

Monday = 52
Tuesday = 54
Wednesday = 102
Thursday = 31
Friday = 68
Saturday = 45
Sunday = 106

For instance, today is Monday, so you'd add the "name number" to 52, which is Monday's number. This time, you'll keep adding until you get one digit. Save this digit, because now we will introduce  a new element: the question asked by the absent querent.

Astro Mythological Lenormand - PART II: Reading for a querent who is present

Back with a bit more of Astro Mythological lessons, as taught by Dicta & Françoise in the book Le tarot de Mlle. Lenormand!

Enjoy!

SECOND SITUATION: When you read the Lenormand for a querent who is present.

The method is similar to the first one. You get your querent's name and surname, and find it's number. If you do not remember how it's done, read again the first situation, in which you'll find Mlle Lenormand's "hidden alphabet" and see how you calculate the your "name number".

This time, however, instead of adding the birth date to the "name number", you add the number of the day in which the reading is happening. Complicated? Nah! Let's use an example again!
